Hit or Miss

Entries from Feb 2002

I’m leaving for a conference in Wisconsin for a few days. When I get back, I promise to write about why I haven’t really been writing anything in this weblog lately.

Javascript Clock. Impractical, but cool nonetheless.

The DO NOT EAT Page

The DO NOT EAT Page. An entire page about those little packets that come in boxes of electronics that you’re not supposed to eat.

I might as well just go ahead and shut this website down because I impulsively bought a Nintendo Game Cube today after spending all yesterday playing Super Monkey Ball at my friend Morgan’s. <hyperbole>I’ll probably never surf the web again.</hyperbole>

I can’t wait for the new version of The Legend of Zelda to come out on Game Cube. The reason I went ahead and bought a Game Cube over other systems is because of the cartoon-like quality of the games — and Zelda looks like the ultimate playable cartoon.

I’m not going to take it personally that a certain someone has returned to the world of blogging and doesn’t have a link to my site.

Oscar Nominations

Oscar Nominations. Even though it was nominated for a Golden Globe, “Come What May” has been ruled ineligible for a Best Song Oscar nomination because it was written (though unused) for Baz Luhrmann’s ROMEO + JULIET. Baz didn’t get a Best Director nomination either (grumble).
