2004 in Review

2004 was a pretty great year — my first entire year living in New York City. Here’s some of the highlights:

If you check out Jeff’s year-end wrapup, you’ll notice our lists are pretty similar. So here’s to another happy year of Jeff and I together.

Top 100 Toys

Max points to a great (British-centric) list of Top 100 Toys from around the same time period he and I were both kids.

Several of my favorites make an appearance (Weebles, Merlin, Shrinky Dinks); but while Magic Rocks is on the list, my favorite — Magic Sand in the genie bottle — is not.

Stapleless Stapler  

"Joins your papers by punching a small, neat hole in your documents and folding the remaining flaps together for a secure binding." Great! I've always been freaked out by the idea of staples and paperclips not being recycled.
